To create texture, in the latter stages of making the 'Dancing Hares', Sophie builds up the plaster and when dry, hacks away at it with a hammer. All sorts of extra objects are added, including children's toys. After moulding, the larger plaster originals, including the 'Dancing Hare's were destroyed. Everything except for the plaster itself is recycled. The armatures are re cut and welded up again.
