Mary-Hare School visit
Pupils of the Mary-Hare school near Newbury inscribing one of the Torsos. Sophie undertook a residency at the Mary Hare school near Newbury. The school is a leading educational establishment for the profoundly deaf. Sophie had decided not to do school residences anymore. They are a lot of hard work and preparation and Sophie finds time out of the studio, working elsewhere, tfrustrating. Sophie was persuaded to do just one more residency by an old friend and director of the Newbury Festival, Mark Eynon. It turned out to be a rewarding experience for everyone involved.
